Keira Knightley thinks it would be “possible” to love two men at the same time. The actress plays a married woman who considers having an affair in the movie Last Night. Keira accepts relationships can be confusing and she understands how you could have feelings for two different people.
“Sometimes it is possible,” she replied in an interview with the British edition of Marie Claire when asked if it is possible to love two men simultaneously. “It has to do with the person you are, the place you’re at in your life, and the person you’re with and where he is in his life. I don’t think there’s one answer.”
The star also spoke about being emotionally and physically unfaithful. She assumed many of her male friends would be more upset if they discovered their partners had slept with someone else. However, she was surprised to hear their opinions when she discussed the subject with them.
“I really thought women would find emotional betrayal worse and men would consider a physical betrayal worse,” she said. “But the number of guys I asked said it was the other way round. For them, to love another woman emotionally and not be physical was much worse.”
Keira is currently believed to be dating musician James Righton. The 26-year-old beauty prefers not to discuss her private life, but insist she isn’t usually a jealous person. She claims envy is a destructive force in relationships.
“I think jealousy is the only emotion that has no positive side to it. I’m not saying I’ve never been jealous – of course I have – but I think if one’s institution is based on jealousy, then I’d say you shouldn’t trust it,” she explained.
